Down’s Syndrome Scotland welcomes three new Trustees to its Board

Down’s Syndrome Scotland has today announced the appointment of three new members to its Board of Trustees.  The charity which promotes the value and potential of everyone with Down’s syndrome living in Scotland, has made the appointments following a recruitment process held earlier this year.

The three new appointments are:

  • Katrina Leese, a qualified Chartered Accountant and Head of Treasury with the Stagecoach Group and a former Chair of the Tayside and Fife Branch of the charity.
  • Andrea Nolan OBE, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of Edinburgh Napier University who has been a member of the charity for many years.
  • Amy Dalrymple, currently Associate Director for Policy and Public Affairs with Marie Curie with over 24 years’ experience of working in public policy in Scotland.

Announcing the appointments, Stuart Macintyre, Chair of the Board of Trustees commented: “We are delighted to welcome our three new members to the Board.  They bring with them a wealth of experience across a number of sectors and we look forward to their contributions, as we navigate the challenges and opportunities for our families and members with Down’s syndrome over the coming years.”
