Edinburgh and the Lothians
The Edinburgh and Lothian Branch activities and groups are currently on pause, but the branch welcomes you to get in touch if you would like to connect with them or find out more about their branch and how to get involved.
The aims of the branch are to provide a welcoming and friendly point of contact for anyone with Down’s syndrome and their families; to ensure that the groups and regular activities it operates are relevant, fun, well run and accessible to all who want to take part, and; to do everything it can to ensure that the positive messages about people with Down’s syndrome are heard over the negative ones.
The Family Support Service Officer for the Edinburgh and Lothians area is Morag Shields, Morag supports families and professionals with a range of topics including early years development, education, behaviour concerns and support assessing adult services.
