Sunday Family Group for the 5’s & Under

The Sunday Group is a great opportunity for families of young children with DS to get together. Parents, siblings, grandparents and other carers are welcome! Although this is called the ‘5s and Under’ group, this is also open to children who are transitioning to Primary School and those who have delayed entry to school.

The children get to play and build friendships early on in a child-friendly soft play area. Siblings also get to meet other siblings and other children with DS. Adults get the chance to have some tea while sharing valuable information and support. We aim to provide a sense of community and belongingness for everyone in the group. We also have Bookbug with Makaton signing. There’s something nice for everyone in the family, so bring them along! You may bring packed lunch/snacks.
