0-5 Group

An opportunity to meet with other families of children aged 0-5 with Down Syndrome. This is a parent led group that offers support and shared experience.

We have additional meet ups at weekends and during holidays. Please get in touch with Hazel if you would like information about other opportunities to meet with families of children with Down’s syndrome aged 0-5 in the local area.

We meet on the first Friday of every month during term time between 2-4pm.

A physiotherapist, an occupational therapist and a speech and language therapist also attend regularly to give advice. There are a range of sensory toys to occupy the children and their siblings whilst the adults can chat over refreshments and also read information about local services. Primary Peeps

The group is organised by parents who have children with Down’s Syndrome of Primary School age group. It takes place on the first Saturday of the month between 2-3pm. It’s a great chance to drop in for a tea or coffee and meet with other families whilst the children play.

Boogie Bunch

This popular group meets every second Monday in Edinburgh. It’s currently run by Phoebe Haymaer, is open to anyone over 16 with Down’s syndrome and focuses on music and dancing with occasional outings to the cinema or bowling.
