0-5 Group

The Lothians Branch of Down’s Syndrome Scotland runs a 0-5years playgroup every first Friday of the month (term time only) at Enable Hall, 95 Causewayside, Edinburgh from 2:00pm-3:30pm.

The group provides a warm and welcoming safe space for families to meet and chat while the children can play with a variety of toys and games. Our group is joined by NHS Speech & Language, Occupational Health and Physiotherapy specialists, who come along to each session to offer support and guidance.

Primary Peeps

Our Primary Peeps Group runs on the last Sunday of every month 1.30 – 3.30 at Winchburgh Community Centre, Winchburgh, West Lothian, EH52 6RW.

The group provides a warm and welcoming safe space for families to meet and chat while the children can take part in a range of activities from music sessions to dance sessions to sports.

Boogie Bunch 

The Boogie Bunch is a dance and social group for adults with Down’s Syndrome. The group meet fortnightly and enjoy having the opportunity to dance and explore movement independently as well as being taught dance routines and being led in movement that supports balance, coordination, and gross motor skills. Primarily this group meets to have fun and socialise. The dance leader is Niamh O’Loughlin.

When: Boogie Bunch currently takes place every second Thursday from 7pm -9pm

The dates left in this block are: 9 May, 23 May, 6 June  and 20 June.

Where:  Mayfield Salisbury Parish Church, 18 W Mayfield, Edinburgh EH91.

The cost per meeting is £10, and payment is made in advance to Down’s Syndrome Scotland.
