How Can I Fundraise?

HOW CAN I FUNDRAISE - image50Down’s Syndrome Scotland relies on 85% to 90% of its income to come from fundraising activities in order to be able to continue to deliver the core services like the Family Support Services.

The Fundraising Strategy is the plan that we use to focus on what we need to do to achieve this and there are different types of fundraising activity that we particularly need volunteers to help with:

  • Collection cans
  • Bucket collections
  • Bag packs
  • Joining racing, walking, cycling challenges organised by someone else but raising money through sponsorship for Down’s Syndrome Scotland
  • Volunteering to help with Down’s Syndrome Scotland organised fundraising events
  • Organising your own event to raise money for Down’s Syndrome Scotland

The key to the success of all of these is having a robust network of volunteers and that’s where you can help us. We would like a network of volunteers across Scotland who would be happy to help when asked. If you are keen to get involved, please click here.

The only thing that limits fundraising is the imagination! Please contact us on 0131 313 4225 or fundraising@dsscotland.org.uk to discuss your fundraising ideas
