An opportunity to meet with other families of children aged 0-5 with Down Syndrome. This is a parent led group that offers support and shared experience.
St Columba’s Church Hall
We meet on the first Friday of every month during term time between 2-4pm.
A physiotherapist, an occupational therapist and a speech and language therapist also attend regularly to give advice. There are a range of sensory toys to occupy the children and their siblings whilst the adults can chat over refreshments and also read information about local services. Please feel free to get in touch with the parent volunteers, Suzanne Scott or Hazel Wilkinson.
The group is organised by parents who have children with Down’s Syndrome of Primary School age group. It takes place on the first Saturday of the month between 2-3pm. It’s a great chance to drop in for a tea or coffee and meet with other families whilst the children play.

This group meets every Saturday during term time. It is open to all children aged 12 and over. Its main focus is on healthy living, healthy food and exercise.

This popular group meets every second Monday in Edinburgh. It’s currently run by Phoebe Haymaer, is open to anyone over 16 with Down’s syndrome and focuses on music and dancing with occasional outings to the cinema or bowling.
