TeenZ Space

‘TeenZ Space’ is our new weekly online programme for young people with Down’s syndrome aged 13-19. It is open to all household and life members of Down’s Syndrome Scotland. It’s a great way for teens to meet new people, have fun and make new friends from all over Scotland!

All meetings are in small groups on Zoom with a maximum of 7 people in a session. Zoom is a video call programme like Facetime or Skype. You can download Zoom for free onto your computer, tablet or phone. Sessions will run every week at the same times on Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and occasional Fridays in the late afternoon and early evening.

We are running sessions on a variety of topics. Do you love your music? Are you a massive Harry Potter buff or a Superhero Superfan? Or maybe you like to Bingo! Get in touch to see a full timetable of events on offer.

All meetings will be recorded for monitoring and evaluation. We may use screenshots or clips from the session to tell people about the work we do on social media like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. We will not do this without your permission.

You can download the timetable of events for April below.

If you would like to book any of these sessions please email info@dsscotland.org.uk.
All of our online sessions comply with our Online Safeguarding policy, this can be accessed here, please take the time to read this policy prior to your session if you have any questions we are more than happy to answer them.
