Being A Member

BECOME A MEMBER - imageNot everyone that we interact with is a member of Down’s Syndrome Scotland, but there are key benefits to becoming a member. Twice a year we publish our magazine Full Potential which has interesting and informative articles about issues associated with Down’s syndrome and stories from our members. There is also a section on what fundraising opportunities and activities we have in the diary and a bit of a round-up of some of our key fundraisers and what they have done for us. Being a member also give you the opportunity to receive our monthly e-bulletin if you would like and it also means that you are invited to attend out annual general meeting at which you will have voting rights.

Membership costs are as follows:

  • Household (family membership) – £15
  • Professional/Organisation (for professionals or organisations working with people with Ds) – £25
  • New parent (for anyone whose baby is under 12 months old receive your 1st year free) – £0
  • Adult with Down’s syndrome – FREE lifetime membership
