Invitation to Join a New Dumfries and Galloway Branch

A group of families are keen to form a branch of Down’s Syndrome Scotland in Dumfries and Galloway. If you live in that area and would like to join them they would love to have your involvement.

The main aims of setting up this new branch are; to provide local support for individuals with Down’s Syndrome and their parents and carers,  to give opportunities for our members to form friendships, to arrange local training both for families and professionals and to coordinate local activities.

A meeting has been arranged along with Jo Hughes,  Family Support Service Manager at Kirkcudbright Primary School on Tuesday 27th February at 1pm with the intention of appointing officers and forming the branch.

Anyone who is interested, is invited along to join them at this meeting. If you are unable to be there but would like to be kept up to date about the branch, please let us know and we can add you to their email list.  If you like more information please contact ann.butler14@hotmail.com.
