Choir 21! Christmas Sing-Along

Exciting news – CHOIR 21!,  our online Makaton singing group that has been meeting since we went into lockdown in 2020, is planning some face – face sessions! At the moment, CHOIR 21 runs on Zoom weekly, for all Down’s Syndrome Scotland members aged 10+ and is very popular. We sing and sign a mixture of pop songs and songs from musicals, we do fun vocal warmups to start the session and take requests from our members.

Now, CHOIR 21 is coming to you live from Glasgow! We invite any of our members aged 10 and over who love to sing, to join us. No prior experience of singing or signing is needed, we just want to have fun and sing out loud for the joy of it. Details of our initial Christmas CHOIR 21 session below. We hope this will become a monthly event.

WHEN – Saturday 17^th December 12-1.30pm

WHO FOR – all DSScotland members aged 10+ (Choir members can be left and picked up later, parents/ support workers/ siblings can stay and join the fun – your choice)

COST – £5 per session payable online

How to book:

Please enter 1 participant, when asked ‘Number of participants’ on booking form. You ticket is for you and your child to attend and costs £5.00.

If you’re unable to attend this live session, you are very welcome to come along and try our popular weekly online Choir 21 session on a Wednesday at 4.30pm – Information can be found on the Hub 21 event page (we usually post 3-4 weeks of sessions at once, so you can book ahead of  time).
