We are delighted to launch our Christmas Raffle 2015. Raffle tickets have now been sent to all our members and supporters. Additional tickets are available from the head office. The first prize is £1,000 with a second prize of £500 and a third prize of £250. Tickets cost £1. Players must be 16 or over.
Pandora Summerfield, Chief Executive, said “The help and support our donors have given to us never fails to overwhelm me. Thanks to people, like you, we are able to provide more support and advice to families and people living with Down’s syndrome. I want to ensure going in to 2016 we can continue with this level of care we provide. We need to raise vital funds before the end of this year so we can continue to provide services like our Achieving Better Communications (ABC) groups, our Family Support Services develop new projects as well as services to meet the needs of all those we support. I want every person in Scotland living with Down’s syndrome to be able to reach their full potential and to make sure that we have the ability and means to help them do that.”
The draw of the Christmas raffle takes place on Wednesday 16th December 2015. To make sure your ticket stubs are entered in time please return along with payment in a freepost envelope by Wednesday 9th December.
The Bremner family were delighted to win the Hogmanay raffle last year and were able to take their son Michael to Disney land with the winnings, “Winning the Hogmanay raffle was just brilliant. Our little boy, Michael had asked to go to Disneyland for years and we kept saying, ‘maybe next year’ as we couldn’t afford it. So we used the money to go to Disneyland Paris. It was literally his dream come true and we had a fantastic time.”
