Central Branch Activities Group

Our members and their families have enjoyed various activities that have taken place: Art-Link, smoothie making, a visit from Zoolab when we handled some exotic animals. Magic Pete and Science Boffins were also enjoyed. A branch summer trip to Blairdrummond Safari Park takes place in June. The branch holds a Christmas party for all ages including family members. Other events taking place are ten pin bowling and soft play outings. Members receive two branch newsletters each year. We also have a few other activities coming up soon please look at club dates for more details.

There are lots to do – football, basketball, playing pool, arts and crafts, play bingo or other table top board games with our paid helpers. We have toys and games for younger children and babies. There are also two great helpers at the club.

We plan to have a series of workshops on Christmas crafts run by artists from Artlink Central. They will be held during the Activities Club starting in September.

Everyone enjoys music therapy sessions with Lorraine, a music specialist. Parents and carers enjoy a cuppa and a chat. All this for £1 per family, which covers admission and refreshments. Do come along and join in the fun!
