Your pregnancy

Routine screening may have shown that you have a higher risk of having a baby with Down's syndrome. This can be an extremely worrying time but you should not feel that you have to rush into making a decision about whether to accept further, more invasive testing. Gather as much information as you can before you decide how to proceed.

Whilst we do not believe that having Down's syndrome is a valid reason for termination of pregnancy, we do understand that you will want to find out as much as you possibly can to help you to make the right decision for you and your family.
