The People's Rights Tour

The Learning Disability Alliance Scotland (LDAS) is launching a new project to help people with learning disabilities all over Scotland learn more about their rights.

LDAS is a user-led organisation that supports people with learning disabilities by allowing them to be heard by politicians and councillors.

Its People's Rights Tour will provide advocacy briefing for individuals and groups. An easy to understand presentation with discussion and a question and answer session over public spending cuts and what they mean will be provided for all interested. This will take 30 to 45 minutes.

If interested in participating or for more information contact Ian Hood via post at The Learning Disability Alliance Scotland, Unit 12, Hardengreen Business Centre, Eskbank, Dalkeith, EH22 3NH or via phone on 0792 014 1823.
